Sadvit Bold Chokeberry 100% is a juice pressed from fruit grown in the Grójec orchard region, cold-pressed and with no added sugar. Distinctly tart and deep purple in colour. Packed in a 5 L bag-in-box with a tap - fresh for 21 days once opened.

About the product

Sadvit is a family press from Magierowa Wola near Warka, making juice only from fruit and vegetables - no water, sugar or flavour enhancers.

The fruit arrives at the press straight from the bush and is processed the same day. The juice is cold-pressed using the NFC method and only pasteurised afterwards - it is never concentrated or reconstituted.

The taste is distinctly tart, with a dark, slightly tannic note. First-time drinkers usually mix it with apple juice or water. About 1.7 kg of fruit goes into every litre of juice, so a 5 litre box holds more than 8 kg of chokeberries.

The bag-in-box packaging holds 5 litres, or twenty 250 ml servings. The carton is BPA-free, and the tap keeps air out, so the juice stays fresh for 21 days once opened.

Purpose

For anyone who likes bold, tart flavours and wants juice without added sweetness. It works well in the kitchen too - in tea, in cocktails and as a base for savoury lemonades. Five litres suits a multi-person household or regular drinking over several weeks.

Suggested use

1. Keep the box in a cool place and pour straight from the tap.
2. Shake the pack before pouring - cloudiness and sediment are natural.
3. Drink chilled. If the tartness is too strong, dilute with water or apple juice.
4. Stir a spoonful into tea or a fruit cocktail.

Storage

Store in a dry, shaded place at 2 to 20°C. Once opened, the juice stays fresh for 21 days, as long as the tap stays covered with juice and no air gets into the bag. If air does get in, use the juice within 24 hours.
