B12 MSE MAX is a strengthened variant of the Vitamin B12 MSE formula. The composition is the same - vitamin B12, folate, biotin and vitamin B6 - but three of these ingredients are provided at twice the amount: 500 µg instead of 250 µg vitamin B12, 1000 µg instead of 500 µg biotin, and 800 µg instead of 400 µg folate. Vitamin B6 remains at 100% of the daily reference intake.

Vitamin B12 is present as methylcobalamin, and half of the folate as 5-MTHF - the forms in which these compounds occur in the body, without the need for conversion. Vitamin B12, vitamin B6 and folate work together in homocysteine metabolism, which is why the manufacturer combines them in a single capsule. The formula was developed in the German MSE laboratory of Dr. Franz Enzmann, manufactured in Germany to GMP standard.
