Mito-Pharma Vitamin C MSE Matrix delivers 500 mg of vitamin C in a tablet with extended release. A plant-cellulose matrix spreads the release of L-ascorbic acid over up to 8 hours instead of releasing it all at once. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, to normal collagen formation for the skin, gums and bones, to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin C is water-soluble, and the body cannot store it for later use - any surplus from a single large dose is simply excreted. The matrix formula, borrowed from pharmaceutical manufacturing technology, addresses this differently than by raising the dose: the tablet releases L-ascorbic acid gradually, over as long as 8 hours, thanks to a matrix built from plant cellulose.

One tablet contains 500 mg of vitamin C in the form of L-ascorbic acid. The product is vegan and free from gluten, milk protein, lactose, soy, yeast and gelatin. The formula was developed at the German MSE laboratory of Dr. Franz Enzmann, manufactured in Germany to GMP standards.

Ingredients

L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C), bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, glazing agents: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol; starch, anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide.

Directions for use

1 tablet daily, preferably with a meal, with an adequate amount of water. Vitamin C should not be taken on an empty stomach.

The tablet must not be crushed - this would destroy the matrix responsible for the gradual release. If needed, it can be halved along the marked score line.

Do not take the tablet with hot drinks, alcohol or milk.

Contraindications

Do not use in people with kidney stones or a predisposition to forming kidney stones.

Storage
