Nanga Szczodrak is a liquid dietary supplement with a convenient dropper. It contains 1:1 herbal extract from fresh szczodrak root (Rhaponticum carthamoides).

The tincture contains 25% ethanol.

Szczodrak krokoszowaty or leuza krokoszowata (Rhaponticum carthamoides) is a plant species belonging to the sunflower family (Asteraceae). It is also known as maral root and originates from the Altai Mountains region in Russia, where it grows at altitudes above 1,700 metres above sea level.

Szczodrak is commonly used in Siberian medicine for its adaptogenic properties. It is believed to help improve endurance, reduce fatigue and increase mental performance.

Rhaponticum carthamoides contains various bioactive compounds, including ecdysteroids. Ecdysteroids are a group of steroid hormones found in insects, crustaceans and some plants. They are structurally similar to the hormone testosterone found in mammals. They have been found to have anabolic properties, which means they can promote muscle growth and increase physical performance. Some studies suggest that the use of carthamoides preparations by athletes may contribute to improving their performance.

Ethanol content in the tincture: 25%.

Suggested use:

1-2 dropperfuls up to three times a day. Dilute in a small amount of water or take sublingually. One dropperful is approximately 0.5 ml.
The recommended daily dose is 3 ml of extract.
