Olini Cold-Pressed Milk Thistle Oil is pressed from seeds harvested in late summer, with a fresh, herbal taste and a straw-yellow colour. Replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, and vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. The oil is gluten-free and meant to be used cold only, on a spoon, in a smoothie or as an addition to meals.

Ingredients

100% cold-pressed milk thistle seed oil (Silybum marianum).

May contain traces of sesame, mustard and nuts. Gluten-free.

Suggested use

The recommended daily serving for children over 12 years of age and adults is 10-15 ml per day. The oil should only be used cold, on a spoon or as an addition to cooled dishes; it should not be cooked, baked or fried. Use it consistently every day for a minimum of 4 weeks, up to a maximum of 6 months, then take a break of 1-3 months.

Contraindications

Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Not to be given to children under 12 years of age. Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Storage

Store in the refrigerator, at a temperature of 4-10 degrees Celsius, both before and after opening, out of reach of young children. At low temperature the oil may thicken. A natural sediment at the bottom of the bottle is normal; the bottle can be gently shaken before use.
