About the product

Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata) is a tree from the dry forests of India. When the bark is cut, a resin flows out and hardens into lumps, the Indian frankincense burned in temples for thousands of years. The extract is made from this resin. Its most characteristic compounds are boswellic acids; AKBA (3-O-acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid) is one of them and is listed separately on the label.
