Vitaler's Men's Vitality Kit

Vitaler's Men's Vitality Kit combines three standardised plant extracts in one set: maca root extract 10:1, Korean ginseng 500 mg and turkesterone from Ajuga turkestanica. Each comes in its own pack of vegetable capsules and is taken separately, according to its own directions.

About the kit

Vitaler's Maca (Peruvian Ginseng) 600 mg - 60 Capsules

Maca grows high in the Peruvian Andes, on plateaus above 4,000 m where few other crops give a yield. The edible part is the bulbous root, about the size of a radish, in colours from cream to purple and black. In Peru it is eaten roasted or as flour. A ratio of 10:1 means the extract is made from roughly ten times as much dried raw material.

Korean ginseng, also called true ginseng, is a perennial from the forests of Korea, north-eastern China and the Russian Far East. Wild plants are rare today, so the raw material comes from cultivation, where the root usually grows 4-6 years before harvest. The forked root can resemble a human figure, which gave rise to the Chinese name rén shēn, meaning “root-man”.

Ajuga turkestanica is a perennial from the mountains of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, a relative of bugle (Ajuga reptans), which grows in meadows and woods. Turkesterone is an ecdysteroid, one of the compounds that protect plants from insects feeding on their leaves.
