Ziółko Milk Thistle consists of ground milk thistle seeds (Silybum marianum) – an annual plant of the Asteraceae family, recognisable by its purple flowers and marbled leaves. A natural component of its seeds is silymarin, a complex of flavonoids.

The ground and unrefined form preserves the seeds’ full nutritional value, including their natural fatty acids (such as linoleic acid) and vitamin E. Milk thistle has a delicate nutty-bitter flavour and is a versatile culinary ingredient – a teaspoon enriches yoghurt, smoothies, porridge, salads or home-baked goods, and is also great mixed into water or juice.
